Course
The course aims to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence to facilitate a wide variety of groups.
Aims:
- Learn about group dynamics, facilitation skills in CR work, facilitation aids, icebreakers, trust exercises and dealing with conflict.
- Help participants understand the necessity of building group cohesion, trust and examine ways of creating a safe environment.
- Help participants understand legal/confidentiality issues in facilitation.
- Provided an understanding of monitoring their own skills as facilitators.
- Through experiential learning, examine stages of group development.
- Provide participants with an understanding of different methods of evaluation for the funders, organisations, participants and tutors.
