Course
The course is designed to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence to facilitate cross community work with diverse groups.

Aims:

Understand and practice facilitation skills necessary for community relations work,
Have knowledge of our history since the Act of Union 1801,
Design a programme for respective age groups,
Have an awareness of how to develop an Anti Sectarian Policy,
Be able to differentiate between prejudice, stereotyping, discrimination, racism and sectarianism,
Understand demographic changes in Northern Ireland,
Candidates will devise, facilitate and evaluate a community relations programme, and
Understand the concept of citizenship.
