to Community Relations Work
One-Day
Workshop:
This
one-day event is designed to give new community relation's activists
an introduction to Community Relations Work.
Time will be given to look at some of the historical aspects of the
conflict in Northern Ireland. Part
of the day will focus on Programme Planning, Funding and Related Skills
and Training needed to initiate a Community Relations Programme for
different groups. There
will also be an outline of the different levels of Community Relations
Work that have been adopted by Education and Library Boards.
Workshop
Aims:
By the end of the day participants will have an understanding of the
issues that may be encountered in developing a Community Relations programme
in their organisation.

for:
All new community relation's activists, full and part-time youth and
community workers or anyone engaged in developing Community Relations
Work.
